Driving Engineering Impact with Outcome Intelligence
Engineering work is often measured in commits, PRs, and sprint velocity — but how well do those metrics connect to business outcomes? This roundtable will bring leaders together to explore how to move beyond activity tracking and surface the insights that truly demonstrate engineering’s impact.
In small peer groups, participants will share what’s working and what isn’t: where metrics have created clarity versus stress, how to balance quantitative measures like cycle time with qualitative signals like developer satisfaction and innovation, and what blind spots remain in current approaches. Discussions will also touch on emerging practices — real-time dashboards, OKRs, risk tracking, and developer experience feedback loops — and how they can be leveraged for outcome-level clarity.
The session will close with each group reflecting on one metric or practice they’ll shift toward this quarter. The goal: to leave with a sharper view of how to connect engineering work directly to business value, and to use outcome intelligence as a driver of alignment, growth, and impact.
