Women’s Health, Rewritten
Joanna Strober
CEO
MIDI HEALTH
Women’s health has long been overlooked—and that silence has real consequences. This empowering conversation spans life stages from childhood health to postpartum, fertility, hormonal shifts, perimenopause, and beyond. Joanna Strober, co-founder of Midi Health, draws from her own perimenopause journey and her work building platforms for childhood obesity and midlife care to show why virtual healthcare is essential—and possible—for women at every stage.
Joining her is Jessica Karr, General Partner at Coyote Ventures, who brings a scientist’s rigor to investing in fem‑health. She’ll talk about shifting funding to unmet needs—like endometriosis, fertility, maternal health, and menopausal care—that reflect the complex realities of women’s bodies.
Moderated by Preetha Ram, Managing partner and CTO and Pier 70 Ventures, this session will cut through clinical fog and outdated norms. We’ll explore why women must drive their health narratives, how to research on behalf of ourselves, and what it takes to catalyze innovation in spaces that have been ignored for too long. This is a call to knowledge, agency, and community—about owning our biology and demanding better care.
